With the aim to extend its services to reach the people of Papua New Guinea, locally owned Paradise Private Hospital (PPH) has partnered with the Nambawan Super Limited (NSL) under its Nambawan Discount Program.

Under the program, Paradise Private Hospital now offers a 15 percent discount to more than 183 000 registered members of Nambawan Super.

The agreement was signed on the 17th of April 2019 between the Chief Executive Officer of PPH, Dr Robin Sios and representative of Nambawan Super’s Discount program, Mark Nimboninggii (pictured).

This agreement will increase the hospital’s customer referrals to its services by directly targeting NSL’s membership base.

A review of the contract agreement will be done annually, which builds a long term relationship with potential future opportunities with the largest superannuation fund in PNG.

PPH CEO Dr Robin Sios said the hospital is building more facilities to cater for the increasing number of patients and to allow more services to reach the people.

Dr Sios explained the hospital aims to increase its facilities to enable more patients to seek medical services in the country rather than traveling overseas.

The agreement now paves way for Nambawan Super members to use this service.

PPH patients’ medical insurance cover has increased dramatically in the last couple of years.

More corporate employers are seeing the huge benefit of such a scheme to their employees and their dependents in terms of costs and access to medical services.

PPH has seen a 30% increase in the insurance cover in the last two years through direct billing in partnerships with insurance companies including QBE insurance and Capital Life Insurance.

PPH is encouraging other organisations to come on board and be part of this vital service.
